Frank B. Bertke III, 75, of Owensboro, passed away on January 5, 2024, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born in Owensboro on September 24, 1948, to the late Frank B. Bertke Jr. and Helen Long Bertke.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Helen Haymes, and his brothers-in-law, Danny Haymes and Larry Gillim.
Frank is survived by his children Frank B. (Julia) Bertke IV of Mt. Vernon, IN and Cheryl (George) Yerolemou of Evansville, IN; his grandchildren Costas Yerolemou, Nicolas Yerolemou, Ryder Bertke and Chase Bertke; his sister Sharon Rose Gillim of Owensboro; and his niece and nephews Bill (Lisa) Gillim, Julie (Tony) Ebelhar, Mike Gillim, Steve (the late Martha) Gillim, Rob (Laura) Gillim, all of Owensboro, Alan (Mary) White of Grovetown, GA and Jeff (Jessica) White of South Bend, IN.
Private family services will be held. Burial will take place at a later date at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery
