Janice Faye Green, 83, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Morgantown Care and Rehabilitation. She was born December 16, 1940 in Daviess County to the late Earl Sheridan Couch and Rella Mae Barlow Couch. Janice had worked at S.W. Anderson’s and as a cosmetologist and hairdresser. She enjoyed drag racing, boating, making jewelry and crafts. Janice loved riding motorcycles with her late husband, Jim.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Green.
Survivors include three sons, Greg Green (Tara Goodman), Mike Green, and Kevin Green; six grandchildren, Cody (Crystal), Summer, Sheridan (Zach Dowell), Todd, Avery, and Ethan; and several great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation is from 3 p.m. until time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
