Carylon Jean Jones, 68 of Prentiss, Kentucky passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Tenova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee. She was born on April 29, 1955, in Normal, Illinois to the late Julis Baxter Cardwell and Lillie “Jean” Grigsby Reddish. Carylon worked as a welder at Metalsa and was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. She loved the Louisville Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mikey Allen Jones; her daughter, Kimberly Kaye Rearden and two brothers-in-law, Lonnie Croley and Donnie Greenwell.
She leaves behind to cherish many memories her grandson, Michael Ray Rearden of Prentiss; six siblings, Lowell Ray “Hippie” Cardwell of Utica, Jayson (Leslie) Cardwell of Beaver Dam, Mary Ann Croley of Clarksville, Tennessee, Darlene Cardwell of Prentiss, Teresa Brandon of Owensboro, and Rachel Greenwell of Prentiss; her son-in-law, Junior (Holly) Rearden of Cromwell and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Tim Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Slaty Creek Cemetery in Prentiss. Friends may visit with Carylon’s family from 11 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
