Jimmy L. Davis, 83, of Hartford, passed away on December 25, 2023. He was born August 29, 1940, in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late James Earl and Velma Geneva Canary Davis. Jimmy was a retired UPS delivery driver and was of the Baptist faith.
Jimmy enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, hunting, and fishing, with his brother, Mike.
Along with his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Davis, and his sister, Virginia Green.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Brenda Sue Halstead Davis; children, Jason (Tammy) Davis and James (Nikki) Davis; grandchildren, Jocelyn (Pedro) Martinez, Jonathan Davis, Tristen Davis, Austin Drew Davis, and Gabby Davis; several great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty (Tony) Delack.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
