Cal Morgan, 86, of Hawesville, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Hawesville on July 29, 1937 to the late Owen and Rubye Kincaid Morgan. Cal was a member of Hawesville Methodist Church and was retired from Commonwealth Aluminum. He had also worked at Willamette and drove a truck for Can-Clay for several years. Cal enjoyed Kentucky Basketball, New York Yankees baseball, playing cards and dearly loved his country. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Margaret Blake and Frankie Morgan.
Cal is survived by his wife of 63 years, Faye Morris Morgan; nieces and nephews, Carolyn (Billy Joe) Nugent, Priscilla (Wayne) Clark, Teresa (Charlie) Boone and Alisa (Paul) Brown.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:15 pm on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Serenity Hills. Visitation will be held on Friday from Noon until 1 pm at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel.
