Chandler Dewayne Jones, 26, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born May 9, 1997 in Owensboro to Richard “Rick” and Jill Christian Jones. Chandler worked at Century Aluminum. He was a God-fearing man with the utmost love for all. Chandler found joy in hunting and fishing with his dad, and was the first to bond with others over a book. He was a loving father, a great brother, and a loyal friend willing to do anything for anybody.
Survivors include his son, Bentley Ryder Payne; parents, Rick and Jill Jones; brother, Christian Jones; sister, Kailee Jones; maternal grandparents, John and Brenda Christian; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Judy Thompson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
