Judy Fay Powers, 73, or Owensboro passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023 at her home. Born in Calhoun on May 5, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Carmon and Frances Dane Bryant. Mrs. Powers was a homemaker; and loved her spoiled dogs, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bunko, bingo, crocheting, needlework, reading mysteries and collecting cookie jars. She was a coffee lover, especially hazelnut; and enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Allen Powers; brothers, Calvin, Kenny, and Danny Bryant; and a sister, Joyce Bryant Cook.
Surviving are her children, Karen Conder, Deborah Drewry, Timothy Fitzgerald, and James Richard (Carol) Wilson; grandchildren, Kandice Wilson (whom she raised), Heather Fitzgerald, Sandy (Matt) Head, Michael Drewry, Scotty (Melissa) Fitzgerald, and Keisha Horn; brothers, David Bryant and Ray Lynn; and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Services will be private with burial in Calhoun Cemetery. Care entrusted to Cardinal Cremation Society.
