JoAnn McKinney, age 81 of Cloverport, KY passed away November 26, 2023 at Baptist Health Hospital. She was born in Henry County, KY on July 11, 1942, daughter of the late Henry and Melba Smith Briley. She attended New Life Assembly of God. JoAnn was a homemaker who enjoyed painting, drawing and listening to music.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons Charles and Maitlin Kirk and granddaughter Brittany Kirk.
She is survived by 3 children: Richard Kirk (Betty Taylor) of Falls of Rough, KY; Elizabeth Baxter of Frankfort, KY and Angie Steffan of Louisville, KY
12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren
1 brother – Sonny (Linda) Briley
1 daughter-in-law: Joyce Kirk of Hardinsburg, KY
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11 AM with burial in the Glen Dean Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 AM on Saturday.
