Rondall “Ron” Burton Stone, 80, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023. He was born on June 22, 1943 in Owensboro to the late Bernes “B.B.” and Pauline Stone. He owned and operated an auction house, Barstone Trade Center. He was a member and Sunday School teacher at Apollo Heights Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Bonnie Bartlett Stone; two sons, David Brian Stone (Linda) and Scott Alan Stone (Christy); two grandchildren, Morgan and Rylan Stone; sister, Kay Nell Humphrey (Brad); brothers-in-law, Boyd Bartlett (Pam) and Loyd Bartlett; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Jerry Carter officiating. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
