Anita “Sue” Ledford, 79 of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Ohio County Healthcare. She was born on February 11, 1944 in Huntingburg, Indiana to the late Clifford “Dutch” and Audie Erwin Hagemeyer. Sue was a member of Beaver Dam United Methodist Church and she worked as a Deputy Jailer at the Ohio County Detention Center and as a bus monitor for the Ohio County School System.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Ledford.
She leaves behind to cherish many memories, her son, Greg (Norma Jean) Ledford of Tucson, Arizona; two grandchildren, Gilbert Delgado and David Martinez; two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Audrey; one sister, Diane Keith of Beaver Dam; one nephew, Geoff Keith of Beaver Dam, and her special friends, Cindy Green Smith of Beaver Dam, Sherry Curtis of Beaver Dam, Benny and Jeanette Turner of Beaver Dam.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 16, 2023 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Ken Spurrier officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Sue’s family from 9 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
