Martha “Marti” Mann Posey, 74, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Columbia Health Care in Evansville, Indiana. The Jefferson County native was born October 25, 1949, to the late Charles and Mary Davis Mann. Marti graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in adult education. She was employed by the State of Kentucky and worked in the correctional facility in Muhlenberg County. Marti enjoyed shopping with her late sister, Patti. She was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Thruston United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her sister, Patti Ogles in 2015.
Survivors include her son, Justin Posey; brother, David Mann (Deanna Baird) of Owensboro; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
