Jerry Ray Brown, 88, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away on November 10, 2023. He was born on March 12, 1935, in Owensboro to the late James Edgar Brown and Helena Head Brown. Jerry worked at Ferrell’s Hamburgers for many years and was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral.
To many, he was known as Jerry, but the residents at the Roosevelt House knew him as “mayor.”
Jerry is survived by his sister, Sandra Isbill; niece, Natalie (James); nephews, Duane, Daren (Stacy), Adam; great nieces and nephews Haley, Hannah, Gant, Ella, Aiden, Reese, and Paislee.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until the time of Mass on Monday, November 13, 2023, at the church.
