GREENVILLE, KY., Larry Thomas Wines, 70, of Greenville passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital following a brief illness. Larry was a long-time resident in Graham, KY where he was well known for loving the outdoors, spending time horse-back riding, and enjoying his life on the farm. He was a member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church and in the later years of his life he spent a lot of time sharing his testimony in hopes to make a difference in other people’s lives.
Larry was preceded in death by his father Thomas Rust Wines and his son Thomas Brandon Wines.
He is survived by his mother Barbara Evitts Wines of Greenville, a brother David (Pat) Wines of Greenville, a daughter Misty (Chris) Sampson of Greenville, 2 sons David (Heather) Bartos of Lakeland, FL., and Dexter Pitts of Beaver Dam, 8 grandchildren Emma Sampson, Tyler Johnson, McKenzie Wines, Logan Wines, Brandon Wines, David Jr. Bartos, Josh Bartos, and Alex Bartos.
There was no visitation per his request.
Bro. Joe Chambers officiated a private gravesite service. Burial was at Graham Hill Cemetery in Graham KY. Gary’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
