HARTFORD-Rosetta Risse, 68, of Hartford died Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in Newburgh, Indiana. Rosetta was born in Hartford, KY to the late Luke and Christine Whitler Elms. Rosetta was a cook at the Ohio County Detention Center. She was a member of Abundant Life Church, she enjoyed reading, cruising and oldies music. She loved her family, sharing God’s word and cooking at the jail. She was preceded in death by Pee Wee Kessinger and Jerry Elms.
Survivors include 2 sons-William Jody Howard(Angel) and Chad Howard(Heather Pinks); a daughter-Erica Patterson(Jacob); 2 brothers-Greg Elms and Bruce Elms; 1 sister-Sue Shephard; 7 grandchildren-Brooklyn Oberhausen, Autumn Howard, Austin Sharp, Taegan Pinks, Luke Howard, Connor Patterson, Emilia Patterson; 4 great grandchildren.
Services are 2PM Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Keith Shephard officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford.
