June Phyllis Bishop Moseley

June Phyllis Bishop Moseley, 86, formerly of Evansville, IN; passed from this life on to the next on November 6, 2023. She was born January 23, 1937 in McHenry, Ohio County, KY. She was a faithful wife, mother, and homemaker. June loved her family, and she was loved by her family. She loved to sew and cook and garden. She served as a Sunday School Teacher, Children’s Church Director, Vacation Bible School Director and Youth Camp Teacher. She was a member of The Church of God faith. She was instrumental in leading many children to Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Arthur R. Moseley; parents, Irvin and Gladys Bishop; brother, Birchel Bishop; sister, Glenda Peters; grandsons, Jeremy Moseley and Tim Moseley; great-grandchildren, EJ Moseley and Jackson James Lee.

June is survived by her sister, Karen (Lenus) Moore of McHeny, KY; 5 children, J. Glenn (Phillis) Moseley of Chattanooga, TN; Ron Moseley of Walnut Ridge, AR; Ed (Patricia) Moseley of Newburgh, IN; Phyllis (Nate) Smith of Charleston, TN and Mitch Moseley of Knoxville, TN ; 16 grandchildren, Brian (Susie) Moseley of Soddy Daisy, TN; DeAnna (Shaphan) Marler of Dayton, TN; Chad (Kimberly) Moseley of Walnut Ridge, AR; Jason (Heather) Moseley of Maumelle, AR; Tammy Moseley of Newburgh, IN; Daniel Schaad of Newburgh, IN; Becky (Jay) Lee of Cohutta, GA; Andy (Kelli) Schaad of Ooltewah, TN; Robbie Smith of Charleston, TN; Kathy (Jason) Basham of Lawrenceburg, IN; Carolyn (Donnie) Cook of Rossville, IN; Elisabeth (Travis) Ashley of Gatlinburg, TN; Grayson Moseley of Minot, ND; Angelika Moseley of Dayton, TN; Katie Carick of Knoxville, TN; and Alexa Kidd of Owensboro, KY. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

A Visitation will be held at the Valley View Chapel, 7414 Old Lee Hwy, Chattanooga, TN on Wednesday, November 8th from 4 – 8 pm.

A subsequent Visitation and Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Chapel of Bevil Brothers Funeral Home, 226 Louisville Rd, Beaver Dam, KY on Saturday, November 11th. The Visitation is scheduled for 10 AM, with the service following at 1 PM. An Interment Service is to follow immediately afterwards at the Dockery Family Cemetery, also in Beaver Dam.
