GREENVILLE- David Jule Russ,73, of Greenville died Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Mr. Russ was born in Muhlenberg County on December 28, 1949. He was a retired coal miner, and a truck driver for Jones Trucking. Mr. Russ is preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Russ; father, Jule Russ; mother, Willow Knight.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Mosby Russ; children, Beverly (Jody) Denton, David (Linda) Russ, Mike (Crystal) Russ, Jeff (Lori) Warner; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Bonnie (Phillip) Ford; brother, Donnie Russ; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Tucker Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
