Wanda Jean Bryant, of Owensboro, KY went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 26th, 2023. Wanda is survived by her two children Karen (Bradley) Young and Michael Bryant, sister Ruby Roby, and her grandchildren Caitlin (Travis) Brown, Bethany (Seth) Duke, Alyssa Bryant, Sarah, Steven and Danielle Bryant. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven (Rosalie) Bryant, husband Donald C. Bryant; brothers Gordon, Marvin, Kenny, and Ellis Robey; and sister Betty Faith.
Wanda came into this world on June 30th, 1944, the daughter of Thurmond Robey and Ora Mae Doolin. She attended Fordsville High School and was a member of the class of 1963. She was a homemaker and a nanny. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in the world. She was also a faithful Christian, and told everyone she could about His goodness. Wanda loved to travel and had fun everywhere she went. She was the life of the party and always found the fun in life. Wanda was a member of Panther Creek Baptist Church. Her best times were spent with her family and friends.
Services will be held at Cecil Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at noon, with burial following at Sugar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to the time of service.
