Jodie Bratcher, 94, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023. Florence Jo (Jodie) Maloy Bratcher was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 13, 1928 to the late Harold Maloy and Anna McCall Maloy. She enjoyed her role as a pastor’s wife, teaching Sunday School, and helping others.
In addition to her parents, Jodie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bratcher; and siblings, William Maloy, Harold Maloy, Walter Maloy, Mina Elliott, Pat Ohnesorge, and Marjorie Green.
Survivors include her children, Doug Bratcher (Jan), Dona McCurry (Roger), Laura Goins (Robert); several grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 11:00am(CST) on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 5741 KY Hwy 144, in Owensboro. Burial will follow at Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the service and there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
