Mary Anita Fares, 59, of Owensboro passed away on October 20, 2023 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on May 2, 1964 in Owensboro. She enjoyed being outdoors, tending to her flowers and doing yard work. When able she liked to travel especially going to the beach.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Shelia Baker.
Survivors include her father, Larry (Janet) Baker; daughter, Kindra (Chase) Cartwright; two sons, Billy (Ashton) Fares, Wes (Maghan) Fares; two brothers, David (Janet) Baker, Kevin (Julie) Baker; 8 grandchildren, Jack, Ellie, and Mason Morris, Cora, Collin, Caden, Ava, and Marlo Fares and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at St. Joe and Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9:00 until the time of service.
