Charles C. Brown, 84, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born April 17, 1939 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late John Phillip Brown and Marie Eckstein Brown. Charles retired from Time D.C. as a truck driver and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of St. Pius Tenth Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Ann Sayles; brothers, William Brown and Richard Brown; and a sister, Mary Ann “Sis” Kuhn.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Gloria Dianne Brown; son, Allen J. Brown; and a brother, Robert Brown.
Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at St. Pius Tenth Catholic Church. Visitation is from 1:00p.m. until time of the service on Saturday at the church.
