Anita Louise Jones, 75, formerly of Paducah, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 28, 1948 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to the late John and Edna Pearl Hayes Cashon. Anita received her B.S. degree in Medical Technology from the University of Kentucky and also had worked in Social Services. She had been attending Precious Blood Catholic Church. Anita was also preceded in death by her sisters, Carolyn Freeman, Rebecca McDaniel, and Patricia Batista, and a brother, John Cashon.
Surviving are her daughter, Susan Pylant of Elizabethtown; a granddaughter, Melinda Pylant; a brother, Claude Cashon and wife Pat of Paducah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service for Anita will be held at 4 PM Wednesday, October 18, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 3 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
