Larry B. Scott, 67, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at his home. He was born in Gary, Indiana to the late Eugene R. and Charlotte A. Bivens Scott. In his youth, Larry served our country in the National Guard.
He retired from Unilever (formerly Ragu) after many years of service. Larry was previously employed by Charles Chips in Calhoun for several years, where he met his beloved wife. He was an avid Chicago Bears Football and U.K. Basketball fan. Larry loved spending time with family and had some beloved dogs over the years, including Tuffy who will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Ruby Mae Scott; sisters, Julie Ann Scott of Owensboro and Debra Jean Hudson of Highland, IN; many nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Stan Duke.
The memorial service will be at 4:00 PM Tuesday, October 17 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
