Betty Jean Steele, 85, of Beaver Dam, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born in the Wysox Community in Ohio County on April 8, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey Harold and Cynthis Edna Knight Robinson. Mrs. Steele worked many years as a clerk in the mining industry. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. No words can adequately express much she will be missed and how much she was loved.
Surviving are her sons, Stacy Lee Steele and Sean M. (Corinne) Steele; grandchildren, Skyler (Ken) Hughes, Austin Steele, Jasmine Steele, Danielle (Taylor) Steele, Brooklyn Steele, and Mason Steele; a great grandson, Kolton Hughes; her beloved Florida family, and many nieces and nephews and friends.
The family extends a special thanks to the friends at Countryside Family Care for the loving care that went above and beyond caring for our Mom and Nana.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Care was entrusted to Cardinal Cremation Society.
