William A. “Tony” Cart, 71, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023 at his home. He was born October 19, 1951 in Owensboro to the late William Lewis Cart and Eugenia Lee White Cart. Tony worked as a Sales Manager for Southern Wine and Spirits and served in the U.S. Navy for two years. He was very creative and enjoyed collecting and rebuilding antique cars and boats. Tony also enjoyed grilling and spending time with his grandkids and family and appreciated all of their personalities and uniqueness.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Becky Cart.
Survivors include his wife Connie Ward Cart; two sons, Anthony Brian Cart and Eric (Lesley) Cart; six grandchildren, Morgan, Gracie, Blaze, Tatum, Piper, and Miller Cart, known to them as “Peaw”; brother, Chris (Janice) Cart; sisters, Patsy Morris and Kathy Nichols; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
