Marc Alan Turner, 54, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born July 18, 1969, in Indianapolis, to Michael Fleetwood and Rita Boyd Harpe. Marc was a big time NASCAR fan, especially of Jeff Gordon, he loved cars, and was a fan of the University of Louisville Cardinals basketball team. Also, while growing up, he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, including a very close grandmother, Willie Keller; and an aunt, Norma Farrell.
Marc is survived by his parents, Rita (Cliff) Harpe; his wife, Jennifer Turner; a stepsister, Hannah Rose (Kain) Smillie; and other aunts and uncles.
The funeral service for Marc will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday October 11, 2023, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial to follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
