GREENVILLE, KY., Eula Nadine Bivins, 83, of Greenville passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. She was born on March 26, 1940 in Logan County, KY the daughter of Raymond Scarbrough and Lona Forgy Scarbrough. She was a housewife, a homemaker, and a babysitter, and she was a member of Joines Chapel General Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 50 years James Walter Bivins, brothers R. B. Scarbrough, Bill Scarbrough, Elwood Scarbrough, James Scarbrough, and Kenneth Scarbrough, and a sister Francis Cobb.
She is survived by her son Tony Bivins of Greenville, 2 brothers Bobby (Guyanna) Scarbrough of Greenville and Ernie Scarbrough of Beechmont, 3 sisters Ruby Burns of Bowling Green, Effie (Jerry) Sears of Clifty, and Mary Howard of Greenville, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville conducted by Dr. Paul Moore. A burial will follow in Cherry Grove Cemetery in Weir, KY.
