GREENVILLE, KY., Patsy Jackson Strader, 89, of Greenville passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Maple Health and Rehabilitation. She worked as a nurse in the office of Dr. Charles J. Shipp until her retirement. Patsy was born on October 12, 1933.
Patsy is survived by a daughter Gail (Richard) Miller, a son Doug (Shelia) Jackson, a daughter Jennifer (Dan) Talley, 7 grandchildren Kathryn (Tim) Freeburg, Gina Jackson, Tony (Krystal) Jackson, Joe (Phen) Talley, Leigh (Phillip) Walker, Jackson Talley, and Emma (Patrick) Smith, several beloved great grandchildren, a step-son Micky (Telesa) Strader, 2 step-daughters Shea (Greg) Wheeler, Jill (Andy) Edwards, and several beloved step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents J. B. and Johnnye Gill, her first husband Bob Jackson, an infant son Matthew Jackson, and her second husband Malcolm (Mike) Strader.
Visitation will be on Sunday, September 17m 2023 from 12:30 to 3:30 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 3:30 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville conducted by Bishop Kenny McCarraher. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City, KY.
