Jarret R. Kinder, age 92 of Cloverport, KY passed away August 13, 2023 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Cloverport, KY on March 2, 1931, son of the late Barbara Howe and Otis Foster Kinder. Jarret attended Sample Methodist Church and was a former Mason with the Cloverport Masonic Lodge. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Jarret was a retired carpenter who enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. He loved his family and time spent with them.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Harry Kinder, Ruth Kinder, John Kinder, Edith Kretchmyer, Ethel Rozier, Augustine Kinder, Lucy Evans, Lucia Ann McAlexander, Edna McGuffin and Alliene Stinnett.
Jarret is survived by his wife Marcella “Ted” Kinder. They would have celebrated their 67th Anniversary on November 3, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 11 AM. Burial with military honors will be in the Jolly Sample Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 4-8 PM and Thursday after 8:30 AM. All times are central.
