Tim Cherry, age 64 of Westview, KY passed away August 11, 2023 at Jewish Hospital. He was born in Tompkinsville, KY on February 7, 1959. Tim is a member and deacon at Garfield Baptist Church and Gideons International. Tim was the Assistant Meat Director with Houchens Industries and retired after 46 years. He was a former board member of the Breckinridge County Board of Education and a former Mason with Custer Masonic Lodge. He was an avid UK fan, enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf. He and his wife traveled to many areas, but his favorite was the beach. Tim was a wonderful storyteller and jokester. He loved to socialize and meet new friends. His family was everything to him and he had the biggest heart.
His father, Wendell Cherry preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at Garfield Baptist Church on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 11 AM with burial in the Garfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, 4-8 PM and Friday at the church from 9 – 11 AM. All times are central.
