TSGT (Ret.) Randall B. Brown, 82, of Lewisport, was promoted to Glory on August 15, 2023 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on June 30, 1941 in Warrick County, IN to the late William and Dorothy Perigo Brown. Randy retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service, serving his country during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Lewisport Baptist Church and retired from BOC Gasses. Randy was a member of V.F.W. Post 5186, American Legion Post 213, V.F.W. Post 2939 Memorial Detail, Rolling Thunder and the Legion Riders. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, bowling and golf. Randy was preceded in death by his sister, Edwina Brown.
Randy is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sharon Brown; daughters, Alita (Gregg) Kay and Toni (Phillip) Rearden; grandchildren, Randall (Kelli) Rearden, Erin (Larry) Glenn and Emily (Jordan) Ashby; great grandchildren, Ridley, Reagan and Remmington Glenn, Gracie, Elliana and Ava Rearden and great grandpuppy, Berkley Ashby; niece, DeAeira Brown.
Services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel. Graveside services will follow in Lewisport Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10 am until service time.
