Gloria Pearl Richardson Burrell, 78, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023 surrounded by her family at her home. She was born November 27, 1944 in Odessa, Missouri. Gloria was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Wilkerson; grandparents that raised her, Phillip and Pearl Wilkerson; first husband, Arthur Dale Richardson; daughter, Julie Ann McCarthy; grandson, Wesley Burden, and son-in-law, David Paul Burden.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Danny Burrell; six children, Mark Stratton of Georgetown, Indiana, Patricia Ann (Hubert Earl) Burden of Fordsville, Deborah (Andy) Jones of Beaver Dam, Beth (Jeremy) Burden of Beaver Dam, John Richardson of Beaver Dam, and Anita Hicks of Beaver Dam; seventeen grandchildren, Cody Burden, Amber Jackson, Alisha Jackson, Kaya Jones, Noah Finley, Julia McCarthy, Maryann McCarthy, Virginia McCarthy, Veronica McCarthy, Emily Burden, Daniel Burden, Taylor Burden, Eleanor Richardson, Jonathan Richardson, Nickeli Richardson, Addigayle Richardson, and Michael Hicks.
A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Warren Brooks officiating. Friends may visit with Gloria’s family from 10 AM until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
