Darrel W. Shaffer, 64, of Owensboro, passed away on July 20, 2023, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Owensboro on April 20, 1959, to Reba Dewitt Royal. Darrel was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed playing guitar and drawing.
Darrel is survived by his significant other Dorothy G. Nolan; children Tammy Davis, Dawn Box, and Doug Nolan; grandchildren Hunter, Gabbie, and Luke; and one great-grandchild.
