Geneva Davis 78, of Rumsey, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at her home in Rumsey. Geneva Pryor was born August 19, 1944 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Paul Leander and Sadie Robertson Pryor and was married to Roger Eugene Davis May 27, 1962. Geneva delivered meals for G.R.A.D.D. in McLean County and was a member of Calhoun Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, being outdoors, and watching the birds. In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Roger Davis, who died April 2, 2006; by a daughter, Shelia Davis; and by two sons, Ricky Davis and Ronnie Davis.
Survivors include a son, Wayland Davis (Diana) of Beaver Dam; two granddaughters that she raised like her own daughters, Amanda Smallwood of Rineyville and Kassy Donahoo (Nathan) of Rumsey; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; a brother, Davis Pryor of Kentucky Lake; and three sisters, Lillie Pryor of Milwaukee, Captola Carigan of Michigan and Kathy Swetman of Florida.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Kyle Stroud officiating. Burial will be in the Richland Baptist Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Geneva’s family from 10:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Calhoun.
