Levina Ann “Viney” Hale Dowell, age 70 of Falls of Rough, KY passed away at the home of her son on June 20, 2023. She was born in Kirk, KY on November 12, 1952, daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Hazel Martin Hale. She attended Restorations Church and enjoyed reading, music, dancing and time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandchild Baby Crawford and brother Leroy Hale.
Levina is survived by 3 children – Kelly (Tony) Powers of Hawesville, KY; Michael (Christa) Dowell of McDaniels, KY and Andrea (Dustin) Phillips of Leitchfield, KY
8 grandchildren – Sharon Powers and Chase Powers; McKayla (Cody) McKinney; Kayla, Brooke and Waylon Dowell; Jaxon and Riley Crawford
2 great grandchildren – Kaylee Embry and Kassidy Corley
1 sister – Ronda (Buck) Moorman of Falls of Rough, KY
several nieces and nephews
A memorial service will be held at Restorations Church in Hardinsburg, KY on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 11 AM.
