Martha Garner Mason, 63, of Hartford, Kentucky passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 surrounded by her family under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born August 26, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Raleigh Garner and Katherine Ione Chinn Garner. Ms. Mason retired from Long John Silvers.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonah Lee Hays and three brothers, Anthony Garner, Danny Garner, and Douglas Garner.
Survivors include her companion of twenty-two years, Jerry Emmick of Hartford; five children, Amanda Lynn (Robert) Hays of McHerny, Craig Adam Mason of Hartford, Billy T. Mason of Hartford, Mariah Nicole (Nathan) Stallings of Owensboro, and Chris (Tracy) Emmick of Lexington; twelve grandchildren, Makiah Hays, Hadley Hays, Jesslyn Hays, Aiden Hays, Alexis Shepherd, Dejha Blacklock, Maddox Mason, Kadince Willard, Jackson Stallings, Hazel Stallings, Ethan Emmick and Will Emmick; five siblings, Marlene (Pete) Napier, Nancy (David) Smith, Jeff (Lori) Garner, Angela (Jamie) Abney, and Chad (Star) Garner; several nieces and nephews and best friend, Cindy Strain of Franklin, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, May 18. 2023 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Recie Young officiating. Burial will follow in Slaty Creek Cemetery. Friends may visit with Ms. Mason’s family from 4-8 PM Wednesday and 9 AM until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
