Joann Hyman, age 84 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away April 20, 2023 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Duncan, Oklahoma on December 15, 1938. Joann retired from the Army and Air Force Exchange Service as a Human Resource Administrator. She was very active and loved the outdoors, especially camping, fishing and flower gardening. She enjoyed reading and working jigsaw puzzles. Her family was very important to her and she looked forward to visits with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Louie Hyman, grandsons Joey Snyder and Jon Snyder, great grandson Joey Snyder, Jr and her sister Patsy Lott.
Joann is survived by 2 children: Karen Snyder and her husband Rick of Fordsville, KY and Tony Hyman of Fordsville, KY
2 grandsons: Jacob Snyder and Jeremy Hyman
6 great grandchildren: Alissa, Sean, Macie, Ava, Ashby and Jacob Snyder
1 sister: Ramona Wagnon
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 11 AM with burial in the Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, 4-7 PM and Monday after 8:30 AM. All times are central.
