Linda Faye Stallings McMahan, 69, of Owensboro, died on Sunday, December 23, 2018. She was born July 8, 1949 in Daviess County, KY to the late Joseph W. Stallings and M. Lorene Allen Stallings. She was a charter member of Southeast Baptist Church and a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church. Linda loved working in the church, with the choir and youth. She also enjoyed sewing but most of all she loved her family dearly.
Survivors include her husband, Ed McMahan; two sons, Sean McMahan of Hayti, Missouri and David Peterson of Owensboro; two daughters, Dixie Mesick of Payton, Colorado and Mary Smith of Owensboro; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Joey Stallings, Rev. Randy Stallings and David Stallings, all of Owensboro; and two sisters, Maria Majors of Valley Station, KY and Judi Whitney of Owensboro.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Ridgewood Baptist Church, Owensboro. James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
