Carolyn Hale Hayes, age 76 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away January 10, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Caneyville, KY on February 13, 1946, daughter of the late Woodie and Rosie Wells Hale. Carolyn was a homemaker who enjoyed working zigsaw puzzles, watching westerns and her U K Wildcats basketball team. She adored her two grandsons and looked forward to time spent with them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband L A Hayes, her son Jimmy Smith, Jr. and siblings Gaynell Hale, Shirley Hale, Hoss Hale, J T Hale, Edna Kinnett and Ava Barmore.
Carolyn is survived by her devoted daughter Donna (Paul) Henning of Hardinsburg, KY
2 grandsons: James and Michael Henning of Hardinsburg, KY
sister: Carol Munford of Hardinsburg, KY
several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 1 PM with burial in the Sand Knob Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Saturday.
