BEAVER DAM-Kenny “Bub” Morphew passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 in Louisville after a short illness. Bub was born in Owensboro to Kenneth and Trudy Morphew and was employed at Young’s Manufacturing for 20 years.
He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing and archery. He was a member and official measurer of the Pope and Young Club and the Boone and Crockett Club. Bub loved to laugh and make other people laugh always telling jokes. Bub was a loving and devoted husband and loved his Family and Friends dearly.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years Tracey Mattox Morphew; his parents-Kenneth and Trudy Ditmore Morphew; his sisters-Kathy Morphew Baize(Claud) and Kelly Morphew Poole; his nephews-Kellen Gidcumb(Erica), Logan Baize, John Fuqua and Will Fuqua; his nieces-Brooke Phillips(Jesse), Caitlyn Poole and Aletha Fuqua; special young ladies he considered as daughters-Ellie, Evie and Emma Wiles.
Services are 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Kevin Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Church Cemetery near Cromwell.
