DRAKESBORO – Sanford Wayne “Sandy” Roberts, 74, of Drakesboro, died Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 12:20PM at his residence. Mr. Roberts was born January 13, 1948, in Muhlenberg County. He was a self-employed entrepreneur. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Vonnell Roberts; brother, Jimmy Roberts; and sister, Susan Alverson.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Lynn Roberts; sons, Wayne (Lindy) Roberts, David (Melissa) Roberts, Chris (Amy) Roberts, Jonathan (Holli) Roberts, Paul Alan Roberts, and Jacob Dewayne Roberts; daughter, Michelle (David) Johnson; 17 grandkids; 10 great-grandkids; several nieces and nephews; and sister, JoAnne (Vic) Horrell.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Joe Chambers officiating. Burial in Highway Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
