Patty Mullen 71, of Beech Grove, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Patty Ruth Sallee was born May 1, 1951 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Orvel and Mildred Juanita McCarty Sallee and was married to Timmie Lee Mullen June 25, 1988. Patty was a homemaker, enjoyed bingo, going to the casino, and spending time with both her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Capps.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Tim Mullen; two sons, Todd Capps (Janice) of Beech Grove and Jason Sallee (Tabitha) of Calhoun; a daughter, Amber Williams of Beech Grove; nine grandchildren, Colby Boyken, Freddie Anthony, Johnny Anthony, Bobby Dennis, Jeremy Anthony, Seth Robertson, Aiden Robertson, Hannah Sosh, and Corey Capps; 14 great grandchildren; a brother, Mike “Red” Sallee (Cindy) of Calhoun; a sister, Peggy Tanner (Ricky) of Calhoun; several nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends; and a special niece, Shawna Douglas of Calhoun.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Calhoun Cemetery with the Revs. Kyle Stroud and Randy Sallee officiating. There will be no public visitation. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Patty’s family.
