Betty Jean Bullard, age 84 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away September 6, 2022 at Breckinridge Memorial Nursing Facility. She was born in Breckinridge County on January 18, 1938, daughter of the late James Homer and Anna Rhea Jolly Adcox. Betty was a member of Mechanicsburg United Methodist Church. She was a retired self employed seamstress who enjoyed fishing, camping, trap shoots, but especially cooking for her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Bullard, granddaughter Jessica Trostel, son-in-law Mike Brown,siblings Edna Vaughn Adcox, James Homer Adcox, Jr., William Russell Adcox, Neil Jackson Adcox, Denver Owen Adcox, Wesley Jay Adcox and James Kenneth Adcox.
She is survived by her stepdaughter Juanita Brown
3 grandchildren: Allison (Dan) Cox, Sarah McGarvey and Remko Bloemhard
4 great grandchildren
1 brother – Donald (Joan) Adcox of Harned, KY
1 sister – Agnes (Jim) Nalley of Galesburg, IL
A memorial service will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 4 PM with visitation beginning at 2 PM.
