Rockport, IN – Kathy Ann Bolen, 69, of Rockport, Indiana passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.
Kathy was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on January 15, 1953 to the late Wallace and Betty (Rininger) Herron.
Kathy was a graduate of South Spencer High School. She loved camping, working in her flower beds, playing bingo, playing slot machines,
and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her stepsons, Timothy Bolen in 2007, and Todd Bolen in 2022.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Bolen of Rockport, IN; her children, Becky Jones (Donald) and Bryan Lester (Tommye Sue), all of Rockport, IN; her grandchildren, Katherine Jones, Zebediah Lester, and Zekyra Lester; her step grandchildren, Jessica Knight (Justin), Johnna Jo Scherer, Kristina Blinzinger, Kandice Bolen (Colin), and Gaege Bolen; 8 great grandchildren; her brothers Randy Herron (Michelle), and Stanley Herron.
Services are 2 P.M. Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Richland, Indiana.
Visitation is 10 A.M. until 2 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
