Michael L. Moorman, age 70, died on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on March 3, 1952 to the late William Moorman and Rita Askin Moorman. Mike was retired from Texas Gas where he worked as a Senior Repair Specialist. He attended St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in McQuady, a community he lived in and was very proud of. Mike loved UK sports and was a lifelong fan. He was a gardener, master mechanic, master storyteller, beloved Papaw and a friend to many.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his son – Josh Moorman, and brothers – Phil Moorman & Dennis Moorman.

Grandchildren: Montgomery, William and AnnaBella Moorman, Lily & Gracyn Glass
Visitation will be held on Friday from 3:30 – 8 PM and Saturday after 8:30 AM at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home
Funeral services will be held on Saturday 11:30 AM at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church
Burial in St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery
Rosary services at 7:30 PM on Friday
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Romuald School or St. Mary Cemetery Fund
