William Ray “Bill” Bland, age 83 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away July 27, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Breckinridge County on February 14, 1939, son of the late Samuel and Beatrice Mattingly Bland. Bill was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church and a farmer. Bill enjoyed time with his friends attending horseraces, loved all dogs and was very dedicated in attending Mass.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Eddie Ray Bland in 1981.
Bill is survived by his son Andrew Scott Bland (Clint Freeman) of Louisville, KY and his daughter Bobbi Clark of Clarkson, KY
his granddaughter Maggie Clark of Leitchfield, KY
1 brother Donald (Alice) Bland and 1 sister Toby Keenan of Hardinsburg, KY
several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at St. Romuald Catholic Church on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 11 AM with burial in the St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4-8 PM and Thursday after 8:30 AM.
