Carl Nelson Ball, age 89 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away July 26, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was born in Union Star, KY on October 8, 1932, son of the late Nelson and Mary Opal Morgan Ball. Carl retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers and was a member of Bethel Fellowship Church. He was a Korean War veteran of the United States Army. Carl enjoyed eating out, deer hunting and watching UK sports. He loved his family, however he had a special love for his faithful furry companion Cody.
In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his wife Flora Mae Ball, stepdaughter Donna Beauchamp and brothers Wayne, George, Donald, Bob and James Ball.
He is survived by his wife Pauline Ball of Hardinsburg, KY

stepdaughter Paula Beauchamp of Louisville, KY
1 grandson – Carl Stephen Ball and 2 step granddaughters – Christie (Matt) Marple and Kimberly Montgomery

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 11 AM. Burial with military honors will be in the Cloverport Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 4-8 PM and Friday after 8:30 AM.
