Ralph Edward McCamish of Custer, KY passed away on July 4, 2022 at the age of 64 surrounded by his loving family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Ralph was the youngest of 6 children born to Ruth and James Eddie McCamish on February 10, 1958. Ralph was a true family man and loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He loved to make people laugh and was always cracking jokes. In his younger years, Ralph enjoyed riding horses and playing Rook. He was an avid UK fan and enjoyed bragging on his Cats. Ralph was a loyal employee of Scotty’s Contracting and Stone for 33 years, retiring in 2021. He had many friends and was known to most as “Big Ralph”. Everything about him was big: his smile, his laugh and most of all his heart. Ralph loved the Lord and fellowshipping with his brothers and sisters in Christ. He attended Garfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Breckinridge County Christian Men’s Fellowship as well as the Custer Masonic Lodge. Ralph loved people and was always willing to help anyone at any time. He will be missed by so many, but never forgotten.
