Beaver Dam- Mark R. Thompson, 69 , passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. He was born September 21, 1952 in Hartford, son of the late Chester M. and Flora Simes Thompson.
Mark was a member of the McHenry Baptist Church, retired coal miner, a member of UMWA Local 1791 at Wabash Mine where he was a shuttle car driver. He had worked at Allied Barton Security. He loved his family and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death also by his daughter Amanda D. Thompson.
Survivors include his wife Maxine Eversole Thompson; son Adam R. Thompson.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Chad Patterson officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10am until time of the service on Thursday.
