Anna Pearl Carrico, age 86 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away March 28, 2022 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Meade County, KY on April 27, 1935, the daughter of the late Bernard Spaulding and Cecelia Ruth Whelan Heavrin. Anna was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church and a homemaker. Her interests include sewing, quilting, flower gardening and square dancing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Carrico, son Buddy Greenwell, sisters Rena Greenwell, Dorothy Barr and Lorene Barr.
Anna is survived by 4 children: Glenn (Shelley) Greenwell of Mount Washington, KY; Barbara (Ricky) Sturgeon of Webster, KY; Karen (Greg) Sturgeon of Hardinsburg, KY and Darlene (Blue) Fleace of Garfield, KY
10 grandchildren: Mike Greenwell, Missy Metcalfe, Denny Greenwell, Chrissy Greenwell, Brian Sturgeon, Amanda Simmons, Jason Sturgeon, Sherry Higdon, Carrie Tertel and Jennifer Blakely
20 great grandchildren
2 sisters: Edna Popham of Brandenburg, KY and Norma Redmon of Shepherdsville, KY
Funeral services will be held at St. Romuald Catholic Church on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 10 AM with burial in the Bethany Cemetery in Louisville, KY. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4-8 PM and after 8:30 AM Thursday. All times are central.
