Sue Thomas Skillman, age 90 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away March 7, 2022 at Breckinridge Memorial Nursing Facility. She was born in Breckinridge County on November 18, 1931, the daughter of the late Lonnie and Elsie May Basham. Sue was a member of Hardinsburg United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker who had many interests that include cooking, crocheting, gardening and raising flowers. Her family was her world and they loved and adored her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Allen Skillman and her sister Virginia Hendrick.
She is survived by 2 children: Bettye Sue (Keith) Small and Thomas M. (Laura) Skillman of Hardinsburg, KY
2 grandchildren: Sarah (Chris) Schuetz and Elizabeth (Andy) Wilson
4 great grandchildren: Addie and Annie Schuetz and Kate and Ben Wilson
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 1 PM with burial in the Ivy Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday after 10:30 AM.
